I Believe: L. Belans 2016-2020

I believe in creating a sense of belonging through:

I believe in Medicare for all.

In regulations that protect our fragile environment.

That systemic and structured racism must be dismantled through public and corporate policy, and through personal commitment to act.

In equal access to free, quality, equitable education.

I believe guns should be regulated.

In equitable wealth distribution. I believe that government should provide for those who need it.

In marriage equality.

In women having dominion over their own bodies.

That immigrants belong here.

In pesticide-free, healthy, affordable food.

That policy bills should publicly debated under bright lights.

That people have priority over corporations.

I believe in the first amendment.

In protecting the Constitution. I believe in a protected, free democratic society.
